CDs with MP3s

#1 Post by palmboy5 » Sat Jan 15, 2005 6:03 pm

ok u know those CD players that say they can play MP3 formatted discs... what exactly do you do to the CD?
just burn all the MP3s as 'data' files? so its not an audio cd, just a typical data CD..? ionno and can someone check if the odyssey's cd player can read MP3 discs or not? i cant find shit but it no doubt SHOULD.

Your right. Just burn the MP3's as a data CD. I dont know about putting other things on the CD as well, but I dont see why not. It would just play the MP3's not the other data. Only use the burn music CD option if you plan on making an ordinary .cda CD.
This is only my opinion, I could be wrong.

I have one. Just burn them as a data CD with a playlist on it, or use the MP3 CD thing with Nero.

If it the same version I have, I think I have 6.something, you would start "Nero StartSmart" and go to the audio section. There you will see "Make MP3 Disk".

No, you can change the title.

Like Directive said, use the StartSmart thing, that's how I used to do it.

Anyway, playlists: use Winamp or something to save them as .m3u.
