You need to get out more. You never heard of Nine Inch Nails, CCR (at least 2005 has some musical taste) or Led Zeppelin. Quit listening to that mainstream bullshit where you get a pop song on a disc full of 16 other pieces of crap and broaden your horizons. I like Creed's first album because almost everything on it was good, but they started going downhill fast by writing a couple of songs for airplay and the rest of the CD was just filler. Pisses me right off!

Hmm, the only bashing I can do on that one is that it was just weird. Good, but weird.

1. If everybody's heard of them, they suck.
2. If nobody's heard of them, they suck.

Seether is fairly new, i like their style of sining... its kidna thier own. Seether made thier biggest hit when they put their song "fine again" on madden 2003. They have other good songs but thats a good first song to hear from them.

CCR is a great classic band, they have had MANY big hits and alot of thier songs are good.. not just one or two per cd. Like phill said, they were about quality work not filling up a cd to push it out into the market to make more money.

@Q

mozart did wonderful things, he wrote some of the best symphonys at age 12.... some works that were better then any that have ever been written, what did you do at age 12??? Mozart has some works written at a very young age that were then and still are more respected then over half of this "new" stuff.

The big part is that music today just needs to be different to be good, the overall idea is originality and that sells.... with the consumers not taking time to evaluate what they are really listening to. Its sad really

Jay Z (go for it, this guy needs punked big time)

Rap just sucks, even when mixed with Nu-Metal, which also sucks (see JayZ and Lincoln Park).

Ahem, Quasi.

LOL. To be honest, I just couldn't think of someone to put down. Yes, Mozart is insane. And I've been guitar playin' since I was 10, so I could probably scrap up a recording from my 12 year old range...

Eh, I haven't been playing keyboards for a while, so the recordings I've done now really, really suck. The first song I did a few weeks ago was sort of a ripoff of NIN's "I Do Not Want This" (just played faster on piano) and "Heresy" for the chorus. The one I wrote when I got pissed off about that is just a bunch of ambience, and I've seen ambience done a lot better than this..

As I've said before, rap is a waste of time. And anytime someone tries to get cute and make up a name as a gimmick (Jay Z, Ludacris, Eminem, etc.) it makes me ill.

BTW, what the fuck is a P Diddy anyway? Strange names for bands are commonplace and acceptable, but why try to hide behind some bullshit like Fiddy Scent or Outkast. And if you have to do it, at least learn how to spell first. :roll:

Never even hear of them, not to say i still can bash them eh...

They seem to be a spin off of every other "flying uder the radar band", they have an overall theme that all the members seem to fit, and to my knowledge (which is limited) havent had a big hit yet.
