consumer reports says the toyota sienna has it but honda odyssey doesnt...wtf is this shit?! the only difference i can see in pics is the honda has controls on its steering wheel :?

Wow, "tele" means over a distance, and "scope" means able to see. That steering wheel is such a great application of "telescope".

A telescopic steering COLUMN is one that adjusts inward and outward for different height drivers. Some are powered by electric motors, some are done manually (that means you actually have to move it yourself by first releasing a clamp of some sort and pulling or pushing the steering wheel).

Steering WHEELS don't telescope. Steering COLUMNS do.

Well, like I said, steering wheels CAN NOT TELESCOPE!!! The column on which they are attached can move in or out or tilt the steering wheel up or down, but all the steering wheel itself can do is turn in circles.

And if you want to argue about automotive stuff, you definitely picked the wrong guy with whom to argue. :wink:

my bro comes home with a monsters inc thing from blockbuster he got from a friend cuz he wants me to copy it for his friend.... ook anyway they leave this note saying exactly what to label each disc with.... so im all like "im not labeling this shit"
and hes like "no im writing it" and im all showing him the disc that im burning to and its not one you can write on, and what does he say?!
