No... cans can be thrown away, and arnt nearly as heavy as bottles nor can they break. which is why cans are good.... you can fit around 3 cans to each soda bottle in a garbage bag and they wont break on you.

I have this emptied SoBE bottle (actually not just one, one of millions) that I regularly use to drink tea and soda out of.

i have a buncha the new gatorade bottles with the turn open cap that i carry around school with water. cant find those bottles here though o.O only found them on trip to Vancouver and back
