I'll overlook the fact that he can't spell
ME and go straight to the point. Is this really Dargon saying something positive about Windows???
Take me across the water, cuz I need someplace to hide.
Well I done the rancher's daughter and I sure did hurt his pride.

I dont run a firewall of any type and I have a 2002 version of norton antivirus that the subscription for the virus definitions has run out on like a year and a half ago. I have no probelms at all and I dont even use the windows firewall. The only thing I do is use Spybot search and destroy... Ad Aware SE and Spyware blaster to keep me free of spyware/adware.
You dont need zonealarm or any at all for that point if you have a router like Dragon and I do.... it has a built in hardware firewall. But if itll make you feel better use the Windows XP firewall.

-_- the router NAT firewall is only to make you invisible, it wont protect you from anything.
now if the windows firewall will let me block ANY program i need, then sure, i do remember it asking me about certain programs but not all.

Oh yeah? I didn't use a firewall for 2+ years (and i only enable the windows firewall occasionally for fun), and i NEVER had any trojans or anything. In fact, i havent had a virus (even a minor one) in like a year. =\
Intelligent surfin'.
