I think they know what holy war is LOL. Been doing it for generations now and according to the bible, they are going to be doing it for a few more.
This is only my opinion, I could be wrong.

I like the original idea of it. Punk rock is more about sending a message across than making good music, which is why I can see people disliking it. Someone once said that it's the only style of music that you can play without actually knowing how to play your instruments - otherwise, it's just Rock.

Of course, "Punk" rock today isn't made to send important political statements, it's made to sell and make money. Ha.

Good thing that kind of music and message has been grown out of. We can have our message and music together, ie Rage Against the Machine.

Too bad Rage Against The Machine sucks cock, and signed a very attractive record contract when they pretty much claim to be revolutionary Anarcho-Communists.

They're the kind of band I don't admit to having a thing for, so I bash them. I have the same love/hate relationship with KoRn and Marilyn Manson.

EDIT: Is "yr" a Sonic Youth reference, by the way? I love the crap out of them. :)

Well, I don't like manson or korn but I'm not gunna bash em. Also, seeing I don't know what Sonic Youth is its not a referance to it. Its just my form of shorthand. Instead of Your its yr. Going to = Gunna. Them = em.

In any case Rage isn't my fav, but I do like em. Led Zeppelin in my fav. Folllowed by, not in perticular order, Beatles, Hendrix, Doors, Most of the music from the 50s, etc.... I kinda almost like everything.
