why did the machines make the matrix anyways? they just need us for our BTU and shit or w/e energy why do they need to put us in a fake world?

That's what I'm wondering. Why couldn't they just recreate some processes that happen in the human body on a high scale, if they need our energy? For machines that are capable of building reality, they seem to be pretty illogical.

so they make it easy for the ppl they put in zion to hack in and be their entertainment.

1. who made the architect/oracle/smith? They must be different people since they're all on different sides.

people produce more energy during REM sleep so they made this matrix to keep us in perpetual REM sleep for more power.

Smith got glitched after Neo jumped into him at the end of part 1. So even tho he didn't mean it he caused Smith to be the way he is, even in posessing the real human on Zion.

Ok, first of all Smith was the program turned virus after the Neo glitch. I believe the Architect and the Oracle are programs. The One is actually human. What and why he went from normal dream battery to the chosen one is mostly up to your imagination. I think it was some kind of genetic mutation towards the side of evolution. Kind of the next step of a genetically evolved combination of machine and man. There were others before and during who possessed similar powers but not as good. Hence the prophecy, making this part of the movie a little on the side of religion in the whole revelations aspect.

Remember, most of this is my theory of the movie. How I interpreted it based on the facts that I noticed and my imagination. Not all of the ideas I have heard here as so far fetched as to not be believable, I just don't agree with them

Is there anything else you would like my input on when it comes to this movie?
