yes but the only reason i can think of is my memory timings are virtually as loose as is possible with DDR/this mobo's settings

that is no explaination for those benchmark results o.O

EDIT:
OOOOMMMYY GOOODD... CS:S actually runs smooth now, shun the non-believerrr!

low PCMark score fixed, memory command rate was at 2T, not 1T, 1T made a whole WORLD of difference O_O

ran Prime95 with CS:S, LOL that was fun, didnt notice nething

EDIT:
one thing, i believe ive used enough CDs to conclude that the Lite-On is fucking loud

How much drive the noise makes is no turn off for me. If its good at ripping and writing then its golden in my book. Interestingly enough I have used about 50 DVD-R's in the last 2 weeks and about 3 CD-R's.

i never use burnable CDs anymore XD havent burned a dvd in a while either though... mainly cuz the movies from blockbuster these days are teh ghey

i chose a P180, just about the quietest case you can ever get, and it IS quiet. except it has a loud drive spinning, this is a huge turn off O_O hell that equally speced Emprex drive i got is quieter than this, this one sounds like all my CDs are unevenly balanced

noes noes noes T___T Core 1 (of 0 and 1) keeps crashing. at the 10x250 speed of which the CPU used to do fine in previously. gay. it may be RAM related though, because i usually run one one Prime95 testing CPU and RAM, and one testing CPU (testing RAM with both instances is killer to ... well you just dun wanna be doin' dat XD) anyway Core 1 usually ends up being the one that gets tested with RAM so maybe its the RAM... maybe its the 1T setting? but i LOVE that setting T__T so much faster

Didnt wana post this, but alot of people (espically on THG) think the ASUS A8N-32 SLI Deluxe is a peice of monkey shit. Issues everywhere you turn. I wouldn't be supprised if its the issue.

But im still not sure what 1T or 2T mean, and how you "loosen" or "tighten" ram timings.
