Planning New PC

eh, aite dawg XD
lol Instead of trying 9x260 I stayed with 10x250 and put all the RAM timings on Auto. Prevoiusly they were set Manually to really really loose timings. My RAM read speed in Everest went from 5550MB/s to 6240MB/s! sweet.

when i took off the heatsink the CPU came with it

had to push the CPU off the edge to get it off

no i put the right amount of AS5, its just the thing isnt this small chip like the AXPs, it was a perfect seal of the entire IHS onto the heatsink, no air bubbles, just pulling outwards directly isnt going to work. the ZIF socket only pinches on the CPU pins to hold it in, it isnt exactly superglue strength... its a known problem that ive read other people deal with as well... but i have a question, your P4 also has an IHS, this doesnt happen???
its the carpet of the family room, i rarely venture into the area so i dont really give a shit, not my problem
the rest of the house is hardwood floor anyway

running 10x260 with 1.45V, freezer doing far better than the stock with keeping this from getting hot, its like it wont go beyond 56C load, some kinda 'barrier' maybe that temp finally gets the freezer juices going lol.. with stock my idle would be about 52C LOL
so yeah right now its loading at the same load temp as the stock heatsink when at 10x250 1.35V load
but problem! Prime is failing

yeah that much is obvious... lol but the one stressing the RAM always fails within 20 seconds rather than like.. 12 minutes.. the RAM timings were not tightened and it was run on a divider that downclocked it, WHY is the RAM one failing earlier??
lol oh yeah and the HD temps are lower after i taped up the holes around the PSU, never understood why it had holes there cuz it kinda just decreases the need for air to be sucked in from the front to cool the HD
