lol ok so im like on a trip and my dad was nice and booked hotels that had internet connections... this first hotel is weird.
they supposedly just have the whole hotel wirelessly networked.. but i couldnt get an IP address from it's SpeedLink thing and setting statics for 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1 (random last number, it wasnt 1. dont hurt me :P) didnt work. i had to find the 'modem' which i thought was a port in the wall but NOOO, its a ZyXEL Prestige 841 DSL Modem, and its 80 bucks online. from what it looks like, they have ONE of these in every room. who the fuck buys an $80 modem for each room??
