Its a regular xbox 360 with a bigger hard drive (which I doubt you would have zero use for) built in HDMI (again, probably no use for) and comes with component cables, which you might actually have a use for and a an HDMI cable which you probably don't have a use for.

No HD-DVD drive, no wireless but you probably don't care about either. Save the money and get the premium 360, or get a wii with the cash you'll save!

Doesn't he already have a Wii? btw, what exactly is the use, according to MS, of the hard drive? Are they still just zomg-each-person-on-the-planet-can-have-a-save and getting to load music to playback during gameplay?

box and stuff look sweet though.

Well you can download HD-DVD movies off of xbox live (probably have to pay for them) but I also remeber for some reason xbox offered an HD-DVD version of the south park WoW episode.

HD videos take up huge space, and a 20GB drive is worthless for HD footage. I think they're also doing it to make the 360 at least equal to PS3 in value.

PS3 + 60 GB drive + wireless + Blu-Ray = $599

Xbox 360 premium = $399 + HD-DVD = $199 + Wireless adapter = $99 and your at 697$ and you still don't have the card reader and your shorted 40GB of HDD space and your paying $98 more for the 360.

So by giving the HDMI cables, Component cables, 120GB HDD and adding in the HDMI port they are making the deal better.

Not really, the Elite costs like 70 bucks more than the Premium.

So true, but you do get both HDMI and component cables + the hard drive. That stuff is worth more then $70.. not much more but it is.

Not a wise move, 3 SKU's will only cause problems.
