You should get a P182 instead then, what are you doing getting a windowed case?

EDIT:
Sound card would be a nice addition to your setup.

Did they say anything about DX10?

Looking at Command & Conquer 3's requirements, I'm estimating that SC2 will need:
2GHz AMD64 or equivalent
1GB RAM
DirectX 9.0c compatible video card, at least 7800GTX/7900GT for 1600x1200 max settings.

it will run on DX9 but they were debating about special graphical effects for those who had DX10 hardware.

Personally with it being an RTS I can't see it not running on what Palm or I have and RTS's dont really need to be run higher then 1024x768 anyhow.

Hopefully it'll be mutli threaded so that my GPU will be the only part left in the equation and if my card handles oblivion pretty well then SC2 should run good.

Remember its the kids and geeks who played star craft the first time around... their now 10 years older and have to afford things on their own instead of going to mommy or daddy. I can't see them making it require the moon.

Higher resolution is always better because the interface text are smaller or otherwise more clear because they don't look bolded by huge pixels. It also eliminates the need for AA, which I dislike because its so stressful on the video card you'd mind as well up the resolution a notch instead. I say SC2 will need a 7900GT or higher for 1600x1200 because my 7800GT can go down to 20fps (30 is the set limit) in crowded scenes in C&C3 at that resolution.

My system still has the power to last another year or so with a new GPU. If it weren't for my gaming then this PC would last easily till I graduated college lol.
