For one your argue on battery life was defeated in your own original post... the two backlit screens will murder the battery life MUCH more then a cd motor would.. remember the game doenst have to read the disk every single second constantly, the backlights will however.... i had a sony handycam and i can tell you the backlight screen killed the battery life... from about 10 hrs down to under 2. I think ill be getting the sony PSP, for one nintendo has only survived thus far because of mario... mario kept them going until pokemon came along and now pokemon is the load bearer of the platform. Sony on the other hand has at least 7-10 titles that are as big for them as pokemon is for nintendo, plus sony seems to be the only ones who dont go brain dead on their controller designs. Playstation survives beacuse of thier sucess of their console, not because they have a bill gates bank account (x-box) or because they have pokemon.
Lol i dont know though... ill be short on money for like the next 5 yrs because of college, so unless i find a good prt time job while attending college my days of console gaming will be on hold for the next few years.

I'm not gonna read all this. PSP screen will get scratched cuz it's open, the DS has dual processors for each screen to give a 3D effect. DS will be able to play PSP games. I've read reviews & saw some of E3...

how da FUCK is it gonna play PSP games?? the res are DIFFERENT! (PSP is too big for poor lil DS
)
why do they need 2 processors to get 3d? (and by limited logic, wouldnt that make it 2d??)
so ur saying they got 4 fucking processors in a handheld along with 2 backlit screens with touch sensitivity and its still gonna have 4x the battery life of PSP?!

uhhh... the ds doesnt use cds so how the fuck can is play psp games... think on that one for a bit
