She's taking a test this weekend, and then again a week after that. Until then, I'm pretty stressed. A couple of months? Western medicine was never on my side..

Thank you. The relationship between my mom and biological father wasn't all that great; he left her after he found out she was pregnat. It was crappy, and I ended up growing up without a dad. I don't want my kids to have to do that, too.

Man, what is it with you people? Y'all hardly know any grammar. It's sad that they don't really teach it in school. All we tend to do in english class is read.

That's literature, my man. You spelled it like most people mispronounce it.

And try to remember the apostrophe in "it's".

You're right, BTW. In fact, so much has changed in the way students are taught in the last 20 years or so, it's no wonder you guys can't spell or use proper grammar. And teachers are getting lazier every year. All they want to do is shuffle the kids through the system, not caring whether they can even read.

We can all read there phill, it's just i don't think that any of us have had spelling since 7th grade.. i know i haven't and there are TONS more words then ive ever learned in spelling class. As far as grammer goes Ive NEVER had a structered grammer class in my life, my high school doesnt believe in grammer... literature's the game these days.

My German teacher teaches more grammar than any of my English teachers ever have. The only things we ever do in english (2) is answer open-minded questions about To Kill a Mockingbird. I'm more of a math person than anything, so I like a straight up, right or wrong answer, not something I have to write five paragraphs on. Half the time I get stuck on the opinion I have to state that I don't have in the first place.

ehhh i guess my teacher is more naggy about grammar, last year's wasnt...
is this a little fetish of that teacher or is this the proper essay format:

intro:
at least 4 sentences i think.. thesis at the end of paragraph

Bodys:
Topic sentence,
concrete detail,
2 commentary,
transition sentence.
if u want to make paragraph longer u put another topic sentence after the 2 commentaries and continue loop.

Conclusion.

I more of a math/science person myself.

Physics is right up my alley, there are formulas for anything you need... and if there are formulas you dont know you can derive them from the ones you have. Right or wrong is the way to go... you get the problem, use the formulas and prove your answer. That has nothing to do with your opinion and thats how i like it.
