As for saying video games have nothing to do with it, your wrong. Vedio games should have nothing to do with it but the kids who complaine they are being restricted, or who are getting all the games they need to play 24/7 is what makes video games have something to do with it.
NO one NEEDS to play ANY games 24 hours or even more then half an hour a day. Here Ill state my claim alittle more practically.

You have kid A who loves to watch these television shows. The shows run around 5 or so hours total each day.

You have kid B who loves to play online games like on pogo or something. He spends 4 hours daily.

You have kid C who loves to read comic books, he reads for 2-3 hours daily.

You have kid D who loves to draw or read.

All 4 of these kids are more then likely not getting anywhere near the physcial activity you should each day. All 4 are probably not as smart as one would hope with their eating decisions and only 1 of the 4 are using the computer, moreover videogames as their timesink. No matter what they are doing, its what their NOT doing that counts. And like I said, a parent has to feed his child... but not pizza and cake and fast food and soda and chips.

LOL I spent a total, on average, of 2-3 hours daily reading commics, video games, etc... and still found lots of time to go out and play. As I stated before, I am talking about the kids who do nothing but. So, as I read your last statment 2005, I realize we are on the same page. Just went about different ways of stating it.

Yesum,

Its not what they're doing, just what their not. I spend atleast 3 hours daily online but always find time to train at my gym and keep my diet in moderation.

TV is just too boring... or not challenging, like when ur on the computer u actually have to think, YOU give the computer commands, not the TV rot your entire body.

If your afraid of being overweight and not spending enough time excercising, get a job that requires carrying computers around every day, and stop eating. Works for me.
