Well I have a major problem with both now. I've shelled out alot of good money and this shits cant be happening.
Very unacceptable for how much I spent on them. It doesnt hinder useage in anyway, but still very unaccpetable for how much I've paid.
If you didnt notice, my complaints are about the color comming off under the ctrl-M$-alt area of the keyboard and on the other side it does the same thing under the exact same keys (flash hides it though).
On the G7, those little spots are nicks in the finish and I didnt use it for a hammer or anything.

The keys cannot wear off on the G15 because their not painted. They have the letter or number cut out of each key and then a clear plastic window in the shape of said key/number with a blue LED under neath... there is no paint on the keys. The problem with my G15 is the discoloration of where the palms of my hands rest right underneath the crtl-windows-alt key on the left and where my palm rests on the right hand side by the alt-windows-whatever-crtl key.
As for the G7, the finsih or paint on top is comming off and I didnt do anything other then rest my hand on it. It looks as if someone has used it to hammer in a nail, but thats not the case. The G7 pictured in your post looks 10x better IMHO but I doubt newegg or logitech would replace it now and I have no other laser mice to use in the meanwhile.

Yea, and my keys havent worn yet either (dont think they even can but whatever) and I've had mine longer then you.
Its still a crock of shit, these arnt 10$ POS generic keyboards... I payed over 60$ for this G15 and almost as much for the G7.

and that is the problem right there
the cheap ones dont really even paint the thing, the plastic was already colored
