why? for the insantely high avaliable voltage settings?

Enthusiasts have done better with the same procs on this board. Its the best OC board out there, simply for the vast controll you have over the hardware. Their are so many settings its unreal... just look up how much you can tweak just the ram.

how much more does the ultra-d have than mine:

i know that at least mine is unreal, A64Tweaker doesnt even have a "TRWT"

lol so like after rotating the freezer back and putting the RAM back into slots 1 and 3, i decided to use the timings seen in the two pics above except for Memclock Value, thats at 166MHz.

these timings are more loose than your mom and they seem to be working so far XD stable 2.6GHz??? time will tell!

LOL i never knew SpeedFan could actually control my CPU fan's speed XD

inaudible 70% = ~2C higher temps vs noisy 100% XD

lol Cool & Quiet is working now. had to set the power settings in windows to "Minimal Power Management" and the clockspeed changes now.

its either
5x250 = 1250
9x250 = 2250
10x250 = 2500

im guessing if i didnt OC it it would be 1000, 1800, 2000.
no idea what the use of 2250 is, but i find if i play two avi eps at the same time i can make it stay at 2250, otherwise its just lowest or max speed.

worried about one thing though, obviously the voltage change has to do with 1GHz, 1.8GHz, 2GHz, but with the OC, its running 1.31V with 2.25GHz, thats below stock voltage at a clock speed higher than stock. i cant even check stability until it crashes me since anything like prime will make it go to a healthy 2.5GHz 1.35V ><

proof of instability!
i find that superpi makes it mostly stay at 2.25GHz, which is pretty bad of windows to not clock it higher but w/e, at that speed and its voltage superpi crashed so yeah lower voltage & higher clock = bad

No shit, you didnt need to do a test to know that.

but but if it can do 500MHz more than stock with stock voltage, then lower wont need as much! theres a chance.

And you care why.....

you want to run UNDER 2.0ghz T_T WTF ORLY FTW???!?!?!??!

lol my dads been whining about the electricity bill for years.
apparently, they have this standard usage amount that THEY defined for the average household, if you use twice the standard, they double the rate, and since youre already using two times the amount, double the rate means youre paying four times as much. three times, they double the previous rate, etc. i think were doing like "400% standard" and the bill is a good three digits

save power! but fuck that i turned off CnQ :]

Its somthing else, or they alot you a redicilously low ammount of power.

The computer store in town did an expirment on it. They left 10 different computers running 24 hours a day for 3 months, and then didnt leave them running overnight and on weekends. The total bill difference was like 8-10$ per month.

So your compy wont run your electricity bill that much over. Do you guys have electric heat??

uhh it doesnt LOOK or SOUND like electric heat, with the flame and all, so no. neither is the water heater. the problem for me is that i have six computers and i refuse to shut any of them down, at any time. then theres the whole never remembering to turn off lights thing, and a dozen fish tanks with their pumps, water heaters, and special lights with their own cooling fans.

but in reality i only ran CnQ to see if setting windows to Minimal Power Management actually made a difference. and it did. since im still unable to stay at 2.6GHz stable (it would probably need me to up the voltage, which i cannot do with CnQ enabled), 2.5GHz + CnQ for daily use wouldnt hurt me at all, that is, before i found that 2.25GHz was unstable
