First of all, you're ASSuming I'm white. You don't know anything about me.

Second, you're also ASSuming my ancestors were slave owners. Simply being white doesn't imply a history of slave ownership. Granted, I know a guy who's family does have an original receipt for the purchase of 2 slaves, but not all white people do. And you have to remember another thing. It was only the rich white people who owned slaves in this country. Most people didn't have enough money to own a slave because they only had enough land to raise food for themselves.

BTW, if anybody took the time to read their history books, they would know that the Africans themselves were the first recorded slave owners. Who do you think built the pyramids in Egypt?

For the record, I didn't have family in this country until the very early 1900's. So no, my great-great-great grandfather never sat on the porch of his plantation house in South Carolina sipping a mint julep while slaves picked his cotton.

It is? I've just put the history of the world behind me. Blacks who assume all whites are rascist are just as malignant as whites who assume all blacks are ghettofabulous. I just forget it all.

Anyway, is NWA a rap or reggae group or anything like that? It seems like they're the urban underworld equivelant of punk or death metal.

And it's also very convenient for the blacks to forget that Jews were enslaved by the Egyptians (hence, the pyramid building I was talking about) thousands of years prior to their enslavement. But you don't hear the Jews talking about "400 years of oppression", now do you? Who's supposed to repay them for all the acts of violence committed against them?

its not so much the slave deal, more of the equality thing and that itself stretches from slavery to civil rights movment to now in some places
