I paid $120 for my router. I wanted to get a decent one with wireless AC. This was the best for the price. Great range, easy for me to set up.
On a side note, I do like how my threads about new hardware turn into 5+ page thread about everything. :lol:

Nah, horrible idea.

I like how it took until wireless AC for me to be able to stream 1080p mkvs on my phone without stuttering. It proves that it wasn't that the phone CPU was too slow or anything, it just couldn't get streamed fast enough. The weird part is that the bitrate of the video is still much lower than a speed test of wireless N would get. In other words, wireless raw throughput has always been fast enough but something about streaming a video causes inefficiencies... somewhere.

Anyway, happy with wireless AC :)
For computers, buying cheaply and often will only leave you constantly in a world of shit.
