Maybe another DGL-4300, since it sounds like only that particular one you bought has the problem.

Anyway, for a Linksys WirelessG router, your only choice is the WRT54GL, hands down. Its the router you probably heard stories about with custom firmwares that bring it to omfg-it-pwnz status.

lol no, WRT54GL = WRT54G v4.

Between the two, Linksys released a piece of crap based off Windows instead of Linux and due to popular demand (or complaint) they brought back the original Linux-based model under a new name so people can be sure.

Meh, every brand has a shit load of bad models, but a few good ones. User reviews are the best research resource :]
