What should I use to benchmark my video accurately?
With FRAPS if needed3DMark is always nice.

ok, I ran 3dmark.
I haven't overclocked, tweaked anything

a lot better then what I had.

I got HL2 and all the video settings seem to be maxed, except resolution. I increased that to 1280x1024 (LCD). The games runs without a hitch.
