Typing Test

#1 Post by Guest » Wed Aug 11, 2004 1:42 pm

http://www.typingtest.com/

Settings:
Test Duration - 1 min.
Test Text - Huckleberry Finn
Speed Unit - WPM

My results:
Test Name - Huckleberry Finn
Gross Speed - 108 WPM
Errors - 3 Words
Net Speed - 105 WPM
Accuracy - 97%

Holy fuck that's horrible-- but I know why. Once you get a word wrong, they don't let you go back and correct it. My speed got lower because I thought it was just my backspace key that was fucked up or something so I lost a few WPM that way, but oh well.

That was my FIRST time taking the test. Don't cheat or anything, lol.

well the main purpose of taking typing classes is to NOT look at the keyboard and only the thing you are copying down or just freewriting
