Making home network WORK

#1 Post by aznherb36 » Tue Aug 31, 2004 3:51 pm

I have movies and such on my pc and my brother wants to see them. So i thought of doing a network. first i opened network connections and on the left chose setup a home or small office network. selected the appropriate one and clicked nexted. same workgroup name and then started to show the prepareing the network. finished and clicked next and finish. so i did thte same thing to my brothers and my sisters. the two of the pcs asked to restart so i did. went to my sisters pc and it didnt have a trace. i put my printer on sharing and it didnt detect it. it actually didnt detect the MSHOME

am i doing something wrong??? i did it once before with the custom pc and mine but after something it didnt work

For computers, buying cheaply and often will only leave you constantly in a world of shit.
