So sad, too bad, I'm glad. Always thought FF was crap anyway.

I use Opera because of that, but I'm egar to find a certain plugin for FF that will fix that.

So, what needs to be done is Open Source programmers to be inspired by articles like this to improve the crap out of FireFox...

Ill still use firefox, espically after some of the things ive read. It doesnt crash on me every time i open a PDF (an unusal ammount, but not always) and it doesnt take forever to load either, its actually faster to load for me then IE. No tabbed browseing, the popups, trojans and security breaches.... its all a dagger in the side of IE. And this new version will be no different, Bill screws up once again. Trying to be the biggest boy on the block only gets you that much more attention, both good and bad. IE7 will be reduced to shit just as fast as 5 and 6 were.

Ill stay with Firefox

the problem i have with firefox and PDFs is that the loading and closing times are always forever (well... both browsers are the same) and my frequency of reformats continues to make acrobat reader ask something before itll open, which you DONT see the message even after u end process to firefox. fucking annoying, i dont remember how i got it last time.

That's strange because I hate using my mouse more than necesary so once the window (what does FF call windows, BTW?) is open, alt + tab toggles you through them anyway.

And what I've always wanted to know is, how much of the Windows OS does Firefox use? I mean, for such a small download, how different can it really be?

there are hot keys to toggle tabs as well. who said IE is any bigger? i dunno FF gets rid of all those doorways for ad/spyware?

Nah. They just put them in different locations.

If FF ever gains popularity, someone will figure out ways to exploit the holes.
