And 2005, this is EXACTLY what I did:
Used some sort of DVD ripper program to rip a DVD from DVD to Hard drive. Forgot the name, I did this before I had a DVD burner because I liked the movie and I knew I would get one soon so when I got one I could burn it.

A few months later (LOL) I got a DVD burner. Than, a few months later (present day), I got off my lazy ass and tried burning it with Nero Vision Express. It said that the files were too big. I read some tutorial somewhere, and found I needed to download a shrinker, and downloaded DVD Shrink 3.2. I used this program to shrink the DVD files to a size which would fit on a DVD (for some reason they were 7+ GB, so yes they did need shrinking and that's why I got this program). It saved the shrunk-version of the files in

C:\CHAPPELLE_S_SHOW_CD_1\

and the originals are in D:\My Shared Folder\TV Shows\Chappelle's Show CD 1

Once DVD Shrink finishes shrinking the DVD files, it automatically launches the nero burning thing, you don't have to do anything. Once the burning process was initiated, it like immediately failed and I got the above message.

Oh, and I did the same thing with a movie called 'King Arthur' (ripped to HDD, shrunk, burned to DVD) and it worked. I don't know why the hell it won't work with Chappelle Show...

BTW, the King Arthur movie was rented and the Chappelle Show I got off my friend.

anyway problem seems to start with "Book Type", 2005, ur reasoning, please? ^^

yeah some DVDs i try to burn dont work... but its always the shitty ones or the ones my bro wants me to burn (same thing). so i never cared...

Well, heres my advice. Get the Chappel show DVD back and re rip it. Delete everything you have now to do with it. Use only DVD shrink to rip and resize the dvd and then to burn. Then download the newest version of nero (6.6.0.14) Ill p.m. you with a serial you can use if you need it, because this is a public fourm I wont just post the serial. Now using this setup you should be more then able to make a backup. Booktype wouldnt matter at this point, because it didnt even get to a spot where it could be addressed. Booktype errors are ones where the player wont take it because it knows its a DVD-R and its not compatablie with those, however a booktype change to make it read as a DVD-ROM and the player is whistleing dixie.

Well then do this, start with the un edited 7GB file you have. What is it... a .ISO or is it some .VOB files with an audio and video TS file. Tell me what format you ripped it to and then ill help you
