ok so basically im thinkin of changing the layout of my site which u can see at http://www.defpresidents.com/home.html

the old/current layout u can see at the website link above or in this pic http://www.defpresidents.com/1.JPG

the new layout that i wanna use is in this pic http://www.defpresidents.com/2.JPG

- note that both pics have some quality loss
- the newer layout loads much faster than the old/current layout
- the image with the 3 pple under the navigation has been kept the same for now

i want input on ONLY the layout / clarity / organization of the page

so which do u think is better? old/current or new? 1 or 2?

- dont take into account the fact that the new layout has news added to the navigation
- dont take into account the fact that the old/current layout has media but the new layout has music, lyrics and photos in the navigation

lol i like the old/current/number 1 layout. looking at the two, id say going to number 2 would be a "downgrade" in terms of the usage of images and all that eye-candy

that said, the only problem i have with number 1 is the color of the background to the right (the purple) doesnt match too well with the boxes, maybe keep it a bit darker

im happy with number 1, i get mad compliments on it too but its gettin harder to maintain now that im planning on updating it more often, that and it loads kinda slow for some pple... that is where number 2 is better, its worse lookin compared tho

i guess thats my real question needs to involve effiency on both my part and the visitors part

and where do u see purple?

let them choose either one.



purple.. blue.. w/e. that side has a background thats like.. too bright for the box border colors
