SpeedFan 4.29 big change!!

#1 Post by palmboy5 » Sun Aug 06, 2006 7:58 pm

they added Core, the temperature of the AMD K8's internal temperature sensor

http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php

im loving the Core temperature report, it updates nearly instantly according to load, while the earlier CPU temp slowly rises

It does make me feel crappy thoguh that my hard drive health has gone down to 96% in only 4-5 months.

it looks at your drive's spin up time, read error rate, total spin time, and more, then somehow determines a health percentage from it. speedfan's page for the SMART data is nice that it compares to other entries of your drive to see if yours is abnormal
