Wii hacked

The Wii already has a "supposedly" working chip out that from what I heard will easily be able to have clones made for a few cents each.
Its a standard PIC chip, so once the hexcodes are dumped people with EEPROM flashers will be able to make their own chips for cents comparied to the 45$ this thing will retail for.
Dunno about homebrew but it plays Wii and GC backups from the same region, a 5 wire install and big solder points.

Haha, but last I read, the furthest they've gotten for wii backups was a 50hour process requiring one of two LG DVD-ROM models and after the copy to the PC, nothing could be done to it, and it couldn't be burned back to a disc.

damn it i need a second wiimote but the only time they have it is when they have the wii console, and it runs out before the console does... wtf do i do >_>

.. thats stupid, the Wii's been out for what, over two months now? if my local stores have like ~20 in december, and 60~ in january, and the shipments are probably weekly, there is no way they would still run out due to employees.

dude Nintendo is so fucking pissing me off with all the stores going "we don't got nothing" >< i need component so bad. in Call of Duty 3, when it tells me to use the minus button, it appears as a white circle because composite is incapable of the detail required to show the fucking black line inside.
