Wait a min. I tried to use Partition Magic on my computer also and it showed the same thing for my c: drive. I thaught my drive was going for sure cus I have always trusted Partition Magic. I decided at the last min to get a second opinion. I *AHEM* downloaded "Acronis Partition Expert 2003" and it said my HD was good. I used that program to do my partition needs and I am still using that so called "bad" drive. Give it a shot. :)
This is only my opinion, I could be wrong.

Thank God for that "open source" bullshit, huh? Where do you download Linux again? Now I KNOW I need to get away from Windows.

Why did you have to install the shit several times? I've never had a Windows problem that required me to reinstall it.

Maybe I should go with Linux. My computer could be feeling neglected because I don't have to keep reinstalling the OS.

i was trying different versions. and whenever WINDOWS screws up and i have to reinstall it, the simple way i know on getting the boot to detect linux again is to reinstall linux.

Interesting.

The simple way I know of to get Windows to detect the OS is to just TURN ON THE FUCKING COMPUTER. But maybe I just like doing things the hard way.

Just give it up. In the computer world, the established ways are only going to get better. New stuff will only survive if it's a variation of an old, established theme.
