First of all, you're ASSuming I'm white. You don't know anything about me.

Second, you're also ASSuming my ancestors were slave owners. Simply being white doesn't imply a history of slave ownership. Granted, I know a guy who's family does have an original receipt for the purchase of 2 slaves, but not all white people do. And you have to remember another thing. It was only the rich white people who owned slaves in this country. Most people didn't have enough money to own a slave because they only had enough land to raise food for themselves.

BTW, if anybody took the time to read their history books, they would know that the Africans themselves were the first recorded slave owners. Who do you think built the pyramids in Egypt?

For the record, I didn't have family in this country until the very early 1900's. So no, my great-great-great grandfather never sat on the porch of his plantation house in South Carolina sipping a mint julep while slaves picked his cotton.

I meant that as a kinda yea..... Im white, i dont know nor care if you are. And its an american thing to be hated for the slaves.

It is? I've just put the history of the world behind me. Blacks who assume all whites are rascist are just as malignant as whites who assume all blacks are ghettofabulous. I just forget it all.

Anyway, is NWA a rap or reggae group or anything like that? It seems like they're the urban underworld equivelant of punk or death metal.

And it's also very convenient for the blacks to forget that Jews were enslaved by the Egyptians (hence, the pyramid building I was talking about) thousands of years prior to their enslavement. But you don't hear the Jews talking about "400 years of oppression", now do you? Who's supposed to repay them for all the acts of violence committed against them?

But back to the original subject, anyone like the early Genesis? When Peter Gabriel was frontman?

its not so much the slave deal, more of the equality thing and that itself stretches from slavery to civil rights movment to now in some places

when u drop the word n***er, thats where people get upset cuz thas term blacks faced to be degraded in terms of equality, they call eachother n***a and the difference is how the word is embraced, turnin around a word and empowerin it almost, im not sayin i agree with it or anythin but yea...

NWA is good music, they were a rap group that stood for somethin, they were political and they caugh national and government attention for the song "fuck the police" and the other music on racial and similar issues. good shit!
