http://securityresponse.symantec.com/av ... andex.html

Norton found it in C:\WINDOWS\system32\aim.exe (is it even supposed to have that file?? XD)

i go directly to that file, right click, make AVG scan it, and it says no virus found.

im like "maybe its a new virus..."
but WHAA?

mcafee is gay, someone needs to tell me how to pronounce that.

and i got their office edition or w/e and its like... not future compatible at all! i mean fine work with the shitty little ME but anything newer, ANYTHING, and it doesnt fucking work... it probably would but its ignorance in saying "no! no.. operating system not recognized!" just.. yeah

maybe you dont KNOW any better... maybe there really are viruses but you never know cuz mcafee is being a pussy...! ohhh think about it.. ^^

actually this norton NEVER worked, it was a waste of w/e amount i payed for it (its 2004 btw) and well, i could NEVER get it to turn on autoprotect due to some error norton acknowledges but fails to offer a solution to. so yeah, it cant do shit other than manual scans (no email protection), and i cant get outlook express (yes my dad uses it and its his comp) to connect with AVG's email scanner on, so basicly my dad is recieving spam, without a spam blocker, antivirus, or SP2 through an outdated outlook express.

yeah... i just installed thunderbird today ^^

Nortons 2002 works fine for me. We got a free 6 month edition that came pre installed on this compy so every 6 months I just format this bad boy and get my nortons back. It works ok, but I just formated yesterday and IE is being gay ( My bro says, I dont use IE I use FireFox).

i have norton 2002 3 or 6 month free i forgot, until i can get some solid proof the version of the antivirus doesnt matter in terms of what it can find and delete, im going to try and be more recent.

but i definently need a good antivirus, AVG just isnt doing it.

TH as in "then" and AT as in "bat". So the word comes out "THAT".

Or were you trying to pronounce "MAC-a-fee?

PC-Cillin from TrendMicro is the way to go, BTW. Updates every day instead of every Wednesday like Norton and it kicks ass. I bought the 2002 disc for $5 w/free shipping. Best money I've ever spent. :thumb:
