SLI is, and will be faster. Processors aren't up for it yet.
Here to impress.

games also must be programmed to take advantage of SLI, some games simply were not programmed to do such a thing. crossfire as talked about so far does everything by itself, splitting the load by itself, bringing more compatibility to games that otherwise would be killed by SLI and a "too-slow-processor" such as HL2. which i dont know about you but if SLI doesnt work with HL2 it can kiss my pubes after i get some kinda... mole STD.

Well to be honest I thought there were drivers that could force SLI compatability and even force AA/ FSAA or whatever on games that didnt have it as an option.

wait ok see that? SLI slow it down

but...

WTF IS THAT THEN??

SLI requirements:
Two graphics cards with identical GPUs from the same manufacturer. Video BIOS revisions must also be identical. Note that if the cards run at different clock speeds, the driver will run both cards at the lower clock speed of the two. NVIDIA has announced their SLI certification program, which means that two SLI certified cards should have no problems working in tandem. Currently only NVIDIA cards will work in SLI mode although ATI plans on introducing SLI technology in 2005.

well anyway three big benifits of Crossfire:
1. you do not need to buy identical cards, hell not that its possible by the mobo but you can technically crossfire an AGP with a PCIe.
2. you can connect any old ATI card to a new card with a DMS port and itll work, cross fire is virtually just a cable outside the comp that connects the cards and some crossfiring drivers or something.
3. It's fucking ATI!

you can see the modes of how the load is shared, love AFR :D
look at the problem with the first two modes (modes SLI use)
Con: As for SuperTiling mode, both cards must always calculate the complete scene geometry.
oooooooo! not half half anymore!

My roommate got kicked out, I died of an asthma attack, and I have no idea if I'm going to be able to keep my job.

How are you?

Yea it really is a good idea... nothing good can come from it. Same as my being 80-100lbs over weight, and while Im not makeing a ton of progress its progress all the same.

Nah. For a girl, you're just right.

Seriously, if you were born 30 years earlier, you'd be considered underweight. But in the age of supersizing, you are about normal.

At least as far as height and weight are concerned, that is.
Take me across the water, cuz I need someplace to hide.
Well I done the rancher's daughter and I sure did hurt his pride.

... 30 years ago i would have been underweight, now everythings "supersizing" (that does mean LARGER, right?), everyones getting heavier and my underweightness turns into normal?

No... think about it. If you were underweight 30 years ago before the weight problem got this far out of hand, by todays standards you would be mal nurished. Im just shy of 6 ft tall and a hare under 300lbs... which I do have a decent ammount of muscle mass but that doesn't excuse me from having an extra 60 or so lbs of body fat.
