My Celeron CPU

#1 Post by 2005 » Sun Nov 27, 2005 9:26 am

This P4 based celeron is running alittle hot me things. It idles at 44 C....

I think there was a thermal pad, or maybe thermal grease but whatever it was is like fuxed up... if it was a pad its degraded to almost nothing but particles, if it was grease then it went and shrivled up. Ill put a pic up next weekend when I get my digital camera.

But me thinks I should clean both the underside of the cool master HS and the top of the CPU and put some Artic Silver 5 on it.

For computers, buying cheaply and often will only leave you constantly in a world of shit.
