Longest Chain Ever

Its a waste of money, not very good OC features... NEVER ANY GOOD REASON TO GO SLI... NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER
The cost/performance ratio of two cards in SLI compared to one card in non SLI is just horrible. Then add in the fact that it generates more heat, takes more power, restricts airflow and its just a bad idea.
Go with a nice DFI or other board.. you only need to spend about 120$. If you can get that mobo dragon said for 120$, then do it. But if your paying retail I would never ever consider it.

at the clubs.
the best amd mobo is the A8N32-SLI Deluxe, second best is the A8N-SLI Premium
i looked at DFI boards for a few days when the premium and a8n32 were both out of stock. the first thing i noticed is... they are NOT cheaper. i searched newegg for 'dfi lanparty sli' and the cheapest one they had was out of stock for $173. the Premium is $163. yeah. cheaper my ass.
they seem to be good for OCing but as i recall there were a lot of user comments about it not booting or something like that. along with how video cards TOUCH the top of the bridge chip fan. but no matter, the part i hate about it is the active bridge cooling and how its.. i dont know.. ugly.

For computers, buying cheaply and often will only leave you constantly in a world of shit.

yes that is my only planned upgrade for the system in the future, a second 7800GT.
i dont know if i truely want it!
EDIT:
LOL a8n32 is $245 now, still out of stock
EDIT 2:
LOL the a8n32 box has the word gaming highlighted in red in font size 80, and im trying to convince my dad im not getting it for games. damn it im prolly one in a million that is hating what a box says right now

mmmhm, and i believe i already mentioned the A8N32 has faster single card performance as well, as in having a larger increase in performance than you would see with SLI.
anandtech said this in the mobo review:
"we did find the Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe to be as much as 8% faster on the newest games that we tested in SLI mode, and up to a whopping 17% faster in single video mode with single/dual 7800GTX video cards."
they compared with a DFI board too..
17% isnt bad, even if im not getting the GTX. obviously i am NOT considering the a8n32 because of SLI, 8% is pretty lame for double the bandwidth.
the upgrade is an upgrade. i said before how stupid i think upgrading is, but my thought process for 'upgrading' is the following: "get something for fun, i want to try it, it just has to have some kind of performance increase."
yeah im dumb lol, prolly gonna wait until GT is like 160 or something and get another one ^^
