Planning New PC

you mean the P180? yeah, the drive bays slide out but pretty much every non-cheap case for has had that for the past 4 years.. but theres no question that the P180's is much smoother with its rubber/silicone usage on.. everything. but damn its heavy.
thats good that you want to lock it cuz theres a chance you may get one with the front door warped, the way to fix the bending is to lock it so good for you :]
shit. worried lol, UPS has had a horrible reputation for others, with ripped and banged up packages containing broken contents... i never had a problem with them on the LA-to-me route but from tennessee?? shit. and im pretty sure the printer is going to be shipped using its own box T__T screwed screwed

i know, i just got it cuz it was free with the video card, probably gonna give it away for like 10 bucks
if you actually cared to check what parts i have and dont have, youll see i just need RAM for basic function. i could take a 512MB stick out of the one in sig but.. should i? just for a day? install windows using 1/4th the RAM it will have? i otherwise already put everything together, it booted.

ok, well the first thing i opened was the video card:

this is a pic of what first slides out of the box, meaning the video card is unprotected on that side, it appears they depend on it not sliding out of the foam, which it didnt, no complaints there. notice the circle MSI logo sticker, it used to be on the fan, but i noticed it was put on so off-center that i decided to remove it.

yeah. i had to remove the fan at the bottom because then the PSU wires would have no where to go

yeah.

this one is with the side-fan type thing on, note that the cables you see going over the video card in the earlier pics had to be moved because it would block that thing from mounting.

HD PSU section of the case is 95% clear when you remove both sides of the case, i like how it makes it so easy to access the box for screws up there *points*
i also like the silicone things the HDs go on, the HD literally does not touch any metal, its just wiggly on the silicone, but its there to stay, no worries about those failing. when i closed the case and booted it up, i couldnt hear a fucking thing, EXCEPT for the AMD stock fan, which was REALLY loud, imma consider replacing it.
if you want a pic of anything specific, just ask.
EDIT:
another thing i LOVED, the screws to screw the mobo down are special (courtesy of P180), theyre thinner towards the end, this is an EXCELLENT idea. this way you can put the screw in the hole, and it will stay there, STANDING. you have NO IDEA how much easier life is this way... when you dont need to use both hands, blocking all light, trying to hold the screw and screwdriver right and trying to get to those cramped corners and screwing it in trying not to go tilted. (ok too many trying, ill trying to stop doing that later. ^^)
