Well because of the price and the known OC ability. I know its good stuff and its a pretty good bargin.

Inono I guess its not that big a deal...

Its just 179$ 3-4-3-8 vs 190$ 3-4-4-8??????

actually i tink its really 3-4-4-8 too ;) mine defaults 3-4-4-8, sticker says 3-4-3-8. its because they started using a different chip
We are now using Samsung UCCC IC's since the yields are better and the overclocks generally seem more stable. Therefore, the timings are now rated 3-4-4-8 at a voltage of typically 2.6-2.8 volts.

Another factor that led to the switch is that the Infineon chips are in short supply and the recent batches of CE-6 do not look very promising.
however i think it can still run 3-4-3-8 at 250MHz anyway XD and i think the RAM he used in the OC thread was using the new chips (it WAS posted 15 days after they said they started using samsung...), he got to 285 at 3-4-3-8
