Nutmeg is officially to me nothing more than a spice, even while taking relatively high doses like 2 Tbsp.

Nutmeg is supposed to be psychedellic in this dose. You're supposed to trip out like you're really high on weed or experience time hallucinations. But I've got nothing but a sort-of placebo high. :(

dude... its nutmeg...

it always was and always will be just a spice by itself. If you could get high using it you would see all the junkies crowding the spice rack at your local grocery store.

Alleviating, I believe. There's an active ingredient, dimenhydrinate, and if you get around 850mg of it you can trip out pretty hard, according to some Erowid Experience Reports.

With the nutmeg, the guy compared his "mind altering experience" to alcohol. I took acid heavy for a long time when I was younger and trust me, its nothing like booze. I had a bad experience drinking half a bottle of robotussan. never do THAT again.
