My laser mouse is spazzing out :(

#1 Post by neuralmop » Wed Apr 19, 2006 9:21 pm

My laser mouse is spazzing out, jumping to corners of the screen randomly and crap. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I tried wiping it with (unused) tp and giving it the hardest blowjob I ever gave a mouse, but that's not working. What do I do, Dr Phil?

Yeah, I can't afford drugs, let alone another mouse right now. I have another one, it's just tiny and uncomfortable so I'd rather see if I can fix this one.

By the way, how would warmth affect how the mouse works? I took the mouse pad off, and set the mouse on the cooler desk, and it hasn't had this problem in the thirty seconds since relocation. Thanks for that. :)

warmth within normal bounds shouldnt have any effect on functionality. maybe the mouse pad is wet or shiny or something

Yeah, that must have been why it wasn't working.
