Somethings wrong dawg, maybe the ambient temperature is just that different??? Maybe you need to clean the system off (dust and such). Or possibly you dont have a clean seat on the CPU and HSF.
49C stock is way to high, thats a big problem. Check your Vcore to make sure its at 1.35V or so.

my stock load probably hits 50C, im not sure, but most likely. fortunately the majority of your OC wont raise the temp very much
whats your room temp
For computers, buying cheaply and often will only leave you constantly in a world of shit.

77 right now. It's been hot out, but not hot enough for AC yet.
But yea, it was at 51C earlier, stock still. That's WAY to fucking high, I don't know what's wrong. I cleaned everything out, redid the thermal stuff... I have no clue. But it's pissing me off.
Here to impress.

Wow, after some research and remembering how fucking dumb I am... I realized I put too much thermal grease on, AGAIN.
Time to retry, I'll let you know what goes on.

Im not going to get to 2.6ghz.. 2540 requires 1.5V core and it just runs too warm for my liking. 50-53C load is too much IMHO and its not really necessary for the extra 100mhz. I mean 2.45 is rock solid stable at 1.4V and like 44C load so thats what im staying. Its fast enough, hell it killed my celery at lower clockspeeds lmao.
