darkthrone sounds like a 'common' name someone can come up with... this band is new, now?

Yeah, they're kind of new, coming out in '86. Not much older than a lot of other awesome bands.

Oh, and they're Norwegian. Not speaking English well = common band name. At least it's better than their original name, Black Death. :b
