Same here, same here. I'd never do schoolwork outside of school, and my study hall always consisted of reading books or playing Duke3D on my laptop until a teacher yelled at me to put it away, not stuff I'm willing to stop doing.2005 wrote:I rushed to do the homework all before I got home from school, that way I didnt have to worry about it and that way my grade didnt tank. As far as test go, I never prepared... I look at it this way. If you know it, you know it... if you dont then you dont.
does ur class have a curve?
ive learnt that thats all that really matters, well with college grades at least... ull take an exam and ull check ur grade and usually each grade/exam posted will come with a new total points table, so getting 50 pts out of a 100 usually ends up in like the C range... makes me wonder why they have to make it so hard if they plan on jus artifically lifting ur grade in the end anyways

Because their are kids who can and will set the curve and flunk the fuckups day in and day out. The curve is their so that the class is graded on an average basis of intelligence between the people in the class. The principel that he wants to test how well he teaches, not how well the kids can learn. If the best a person can do is X the thats the best hes taught.
