copying DVD movies

#1 Post by mannyace » Wed Jun 07, 2006 2:19 am

i got netflix and some of the movies are really good and since they send dvds i wanna b able to copy and save the ones i like

so yea how do i do it? i wanna be able to play em in my dvd players like normal store-bought movies/dvds?

or if thats not possible how do i just get the movie copied or ripped-then-burned so i can at least watch it on my comp with whatev media/dvd software?

i prefer an exact copy that i can play in dvd players but the point is i just wanna save the movies i like... how do i do it? what software do i need? etc... thx in advance

dragon wtf you talking about lol

google "dvdshrink" and find a place to download it.

that program alone should be able to copy most DVDs, those of which it cant copy, such as Stealth, just google "back up stealth" or "copy stealth" or "burn stealth" etc. the results can tell you what extra software you may need or just tell you: give up its too much effort ^^

lol stealth the movie, which i never copied. XD

youll see that the developer of dvdshrink isnt putting it up for download. he cant legally do that anymore due to its capabilities, the program is free but you have to find it on a mirror site

Use DVDfab to get rid of Sonys new ARCOSS protection. I think fun with dick and jane had a ton of things like wrong TOC and all that garbage as well as ARCOSS. DVDfab, DVD Decrypter and DVD shrink are all you need

ok so i ripped Crash to my hard drive using DVD Shrink

what do i burn it with? do i have to get Nero? when do i use DVD Decrypter? or what about DVDFab?

EDIT
Ive got a folder O:\Crash\ which has 2 folders in it AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS... AUDIO_TS is empty and VIDEO_TS is 4.35 gb w/ lots of .vob, .bup and .ifo files.... does that sound right so far?
