Rewriting explorer.exe?

is there anything special saved in explorer.exe? or can i like... copy explorer.exe from another computer? i think my copy of explorer.exe got fucked over during one of my OCs and i wanna fix it..
For computers, buying cheaply and often will only leave you constantly in a world of shit.

Shouldnt be any different really, as long as its the same version of windows xp.
