Its not a bad name, you guys just have no idea what you're talking about. It's called Bacardi 151 cause it lets anyone who drinks know that its not weak shit. If you like strong shit, try everclear. Or southern comfort.

right, the proof is always double the ammount of alcohol in there75.5 x 2 = 151

anyways, it is illegal for sale in a few states, including PA, and NY (i thinktheres about 8 of them)

How could we have no idea what were talking about. Its called 151 because thats the "proof" of the alcohol content and like VIC said the proof is twice the percentage of alcohol by volume.

You really just come around here with little to no logical reasoning behind 90% of what you say, and that shit gets old

And i missed one thing in your post...

Southern comfort at best is only 100 proof, where 151 is well 151 proof . I dont know where you get your facts, but their incorrect.
