it was very easy, there are only like 6 or so standard philips screws. just dont do it often, the white pads will become thinner and thinner until they simply dont have good contact with the memory and youre screwed. just like my 6800. totally unusable.

I hate this X1800XT... dont get me wrong it games fine but wont OC worth a shit, takes up alot of room, its loud and now you can get X1900XT's for nearly 100$ less then what I paid for this if you watch newegg.
