lol play tennis on it! its the single most logical use of that controller. Because all the other sports that use swinging (bats, non-tennis racquets,. badminton especially), they tend to have fast motion which can be fatal to the controller if you slip. But tennis is ok

Im no good at tennis. When I hit the ball it ends up going over the fence
This is only my opinion, I could be wrong.

The episodes?? I could get em for free but never did try em yet.I7Iz490N wrote:I don't play any graphics-demanding games anyways, lol. Though I am thinking of getting the xpac to Hl2... but dunno if anyone else here has tried it, is it good?
I have a PS3 and its pretty sweet, maybe not worth it (to me, the console is easily worth more then that) but I already have it and it seems I wont be raking in any major dough off of eBay for it due to total market saturation.
Wii will wear thin once the novelty wears off. Gamespot gave madden 07 a better review on the Wii then it did on the PS3 just for the functionality of the motion sensing controller but then goes on to say that you probably wont be able to play it for any extended lengths of time on the Wii. Games like baseball and hockey are going to cause alot of broken Wii controllers lol.

A good bit of the backwards compatibility can be fixed via firmware updates. Its understandable to think 100% of the games will never run, but to think that a vast majority of titles you already own will run is a big plus in the PS3 checklist. So as your dying PS1 or PS2 gives out, you can still play your old games without having to go get another of either a PS1 or 2.
Movement speed isnt as fast as for others. More muscle is applied, sure. Like 2005 said, for games like baseball and golf, they apply significantly faster swings and i can just imagine someone throwing the controller doing a highly concentrated 'shot'Q12321 wrote:Yes because a hard hit in tennis is unheard of...

It all boils down to force, and we know that force = mass x acceleration.
If you can make up for a lack of one with a surplus of the other (in my case my mass makes up for my slower acceleration) then either can be just as deadly.
So all of us here on the forums could be generating the same amount of force, but my acceleration would probably be the slowest.
Thus with me swinging the controller with half the speed but twice the muscular mass behind it would allow my controller to break the same as say dragons who's could be released at a point of twice my initial acceleration.

. umm.. but your hand isn't part of the mass of the controller, if and when you let go the only factor that matters is the acceleration, the mass of your hand has little to do with it anything. Unless you mean hitting the controller on something nearby when you swing. Well, you could have stood in a more clear area, so thats just your fault, now isn't it?
I'm sure the controller will be fine, its not like its the first time Nintendo did something like this, like their DS. A touch screen for kids? Scratches galore.
