Venting

I ordered a new digital camera, Nikon s9100, from newegg. It all started Thursday they left a door tag requiring a signature. I signed the tag and left it on my door Friday morn. I get home Friday and nothing. Saturday morn tracking said it was left at the facility (not sure how it could be out for delivery and then all of a sudden at the end of the day it's not). OK, I leave the tag on Monday morn. Monday evening the tracking said package left at front door at 5pm. No, I got home from work at 5:40pm and when I checked at 7pm the tag was still on the door and no package. I checked with a few neighbors and nothing. I have filed a report for lost item at newegg. Does anyone know what the odds might be for this being covered? It's actually the camera and memory card, 2 packages.
This is only my opinion, I could be wrong.

?? looking at the date of the original post, I'm wondering how I missed this..

Anyway, yay for you :)

Speaking of checking with neighbors... I had a delivery recently from ONTRAC (Amazon) where I was lucky to have opened the front door in time for him to hear and come back. Turns out the box he left wasn't even addressed to my house, much less my street. He took it back and gave me the right one right after. :]
For computers, buying cheaply and often will only leave you constantly in a world of shit.
