Post the specs of your ISP here.

Mine:
Name Shaw High-Speed Internet
Cost $75.95/month [$58.51 US] (combined price for Shaw Full Cable + Internet, there is no individual price since it's a package)
Cap 8000/1000 (don't be shocked, I never even got half of it and there's only VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY few people who have actually got 8MB)
Speed [average] 2500/480 (the reason I am giving the average is because the modem I have does not give consistent speeds)
Monthly Transfer Rate Limit 20GB (combined DL / UL) :(

LOL I went WAY over the limit. For the last 2 and a half months, I think I've downloaded/uploaded a combined total of around 150GB+. In the past 3 days (combined), I've only downloaded/uploaded 1GB. Reason: They phoned and told me to call them back. I didn't call them back because I already knew the reason and I was too scared lol-- so I just decided to scale down myself. They haven't called me again yet, and I'm hoping they don't if I keep the DL'ing / UL'ing at a low. :( This sucks. 2005 doesn't even HAVE a monthly transfer rate limit. He can download like.. 1TB and still won't get fucked over-- but they are going to put one soon.. *cackle*

Do you guys think it would be worth it to pay $10 ($7.70 US) more a month for this connection:

Name Shaw Xtreme-I
Cost $10 more than above
Cap 5000/1000
Speed 5000/1000 or close (they swap the modem for free and the new one gives consistent speeds)
Monthly Transfer Rate Limit 50GB (combined DL / UL)

You have the same provider as 2005: you have NO transfer rate limit (literally). -cough- unlike Vics -cough-

Daamn.. Right now Q has the best connection [so far]. Palm's will probably pwn it.

Digity, remember how you were always encouraging people to make their own Desktop BG's? J/K. You weren't really encouraging them.. you were just humiliating them for using someone elses. Well, for once, I listened to you. I have made my own:

They arent goana cap me soon dumbass... they said at this point in time there is no transfer limit rate. But like vic said... if you have 100's of gigs of transfer every month that just screams out piracy. Considering you barely use 100 mb a day (full day) of normal surfing.

Unless your downloading or uploading.. well let me rephrase that... unless you use a P2P/Filesharing program there is NO WAY your normal surfing transfer rate will excede 100 mbs a day unless you try to do it on purpose. IE going to the same flash movie and keep reloading it by deleteing the cookies 100000 times.

The most I've ever downloaded in one day was a Gig, and that was only a few days ago.

LOL! Today, I downloaded 1GB, and that was me trying to RESTRAIN my self from downloading. Jeez. If today was one week ago, I would have done like 3GB+ with EASE. :D If I could leave my PC on 24/7 (but I can't), I could do like 8GB with ease.
