this is why i chose extreme mods:

Divineo
http://www.resellerratings.com/seller7202.html

Consolesource
http://www.resellerratings.com/seller5739.html

Extreme-Mods
http://www.resellerratings.com/seller3608.html

ill try and order tonight. extreme mod's shipping prices are weird though..

Federal Express
Express Saver $13.52
2 Day Air $16.13
Standard Overnight $31.75

United States Postal Service
EXPRESS (1 - 2 Days) $20.80
First-Class Mail (2 - 5 Days) $5.27
Priority (2 - 3 Days) $6.05

oh and seeing as consolesource.com only has USPS and UPS imma stay with extreme-mods and use fedex

Whats wrong with UPS??? I've used them for what I've ordered from consolesource.com and when I bought all my stuff from newegg.com and it arrived exactly when it should have.

The thing about sites like that is dont you think that anyone who has issues will come forward and anyone who does really wont bother to go and post praise???

I mean if you go onto a tech support forum, most of the time its people with PROBLEMs that go on the fourm... not the other mass of happy customers.

And the site you want to go with has had 2 orders reviewed in the last six months... maybe another reason it did so well.

where does consolesource ship from?

ive used UPS for all my newegg orders ever since newegg started having UPS and they never delivered as fast as FedEx.

"The thing about sites like that is dont you think that anyone who has issues will come forward and anyone who does really wont bother to go and post praise???"

well there were a total of 20 posts of praise and no posts of issues even when those who have issues would be more likely to post. they dont look too bad and i think ill give em a chance. new store doesnt mean bad... ill post a praise for them if they deserve such

ive read the first (by date) 20 or so posts for console source they consist of:
7x Very Dissatisfied
3x Somewhat Dissatisfied
2x Neutral
4x Somewhat Satisfied
5x Very Satisfied

extreme-mods
0x Very Dissatisfied
0x Somewhat Dissatisfied
0x Neutral
2x Somewhat Satisfied
18x Very Satisfied

so like, if consolesource was as new as extrememods, both with 20 posts, which would you choose? also a little peeve i have with consolesource is when i choose the ModChips category, the products shown still consist of HDDs and tool kits. boy they sure care dont they

of my hand or my mod?
otherwise, you can see pics of a 'pro' install here:
http://teamxecuter.entryhost.com/x3ce.pdf
cuz mine is pretty messy XD i had to put it together and take it apart EIGHT times trying to find out wtf wasnt connected.. the part i had trouble with was with the PCB Rebuild soldering.
Image
such a bitch! and only like, xbox v1.6-1.6b (mine) needs that. a few of them have to be soldered to small circles on the board and its just.. hard cuz the rebuild wasnt sitting flat on the board so theres this gap i couldnt get the solder to reach past

otherwise, i have the thing flashed with the xecuter3 BIOS and EvolutionX, got XBMC booting as a dashboard and from that i can get to my N64 emulator and back to XBMC and such. i can play N64 games again ^^ stupid dead N64..

but i just wanna know how to like.. short cut my video folders for XBMC? cuz my bro needs to be able to do it and hes a fucktard.
