it also shows my reset button mod.. the wires of which were later taped down securely

xbox didnt come with a reset function but some guys realized that the audio video port had three modes. i think HD, composite, and component, each of them uses a different kinda cable that plugs into the port, and each short out one of three modes to tell the xbox what mode it should display in. the trick is to short out one of the other modes momentarily and let the xbox notice it and reboot to change its display mode. since its only momentary the xbox will see that it isnt actually running the other mode and will go back. lol i jacked that button from my 386's case XD
crude way of making a 'reset' button but it works
i needed it so i could save the hard drive's motor lol, super smash bros on any emulator freezes quite a bit and turning the xbox off then on just cant be good for the HD.
PCB Rebuild:

this was such a bitch. and the yellow wire is only there cuz i think i cut the actual trace on the board.

You should be alittle "cleaner" in your solders... their should be no wire fibres exposed.
Such as in this picture,
http://www.mylilsite.net/images/xbox/sdresetsolder1.jpg
You dont want to bridge connections with the wire... wire itself is conductive the solder is only for keeping it attached (and it too conducts).
Just some helpfull hints

lol yeah i just made sure the wire wouldnt hit the other pins and left it alone. and those solders in the pic didnt even stay XD, i had to add a bit more solder to them and put electrical tape on top to keep them from wiggling.
